I’m sure your husband wouldn’t be the only willing DNA recipient. That’d be some valuable DNA. I’d sell it to the local “repository”, probably be worth a million bucks or so.

Nice! Nothing like being encouraged to read the blog and finding out that your husband discusses John Elway with “ladies with questionable reputations.” I would say that it doesn’t get any more pathetic than that but it does. I was lucky enough to be the only witness to the “Retirement of the #7 Jersey.” I had to leave the room. You would have thought we were at a funeral—lots of tears!!!

As for the DNA on his chin- When it comes to John Elway (aka Mr. Ed.) I’m sure it would be my husbands pleasure!

The sad thing is I could totally see Beals attempting to impress some woman of ill repute with talk of John Elway. Hilarious. What’s even sadder is I’ve tried the same thing. I wonder what comes next in the arsenal of “The Beals”, boasting of your 40 points per game scoring average in the Sullivan Men’s League?

Obviously, John Elway is the greatest individual this country has ever produced. (As C. Beals once proclaimed to a lady of questionable reputation in Peoria one evening) I think we should save his DNA for future use IE winning world wars, curing cancer and the like. The best thing about saving his DNA is that you don’t have to ask him for a sample – just scape it off Beal’s chin.

Reyes definitely has the talent to be our No. 2. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. But you’re right it would be nice if they just threw him out there for half a season, left him alone, and he could either sink or swim. If he had had better run support, he’d have a record and ERA somewhat in line with Lohse the savior.

But I’ll try to put more Bronco talk. It will come later as the season approaches I’m sure.

I love it Grubby. More Broncos talk!! Did you see Thompson has beaten out Reyes for the 5th spot? Maybe if Duncan and LaRussa hadn’t screwed Reyes up he’d be our #2 and not Lohse.
